Sycomore

Sycomore for churches

A church check-in app your families will actually use

Families check themselves in from their phones in one tap. Volunteers handle everyone else at the door. Attendance turns into real numbers instead of a clipboard and a head count.

Check in from their own phone

Members open the Sycomore app when they arrive and check in their whole household with one tap. Nobody queues at a kiosk, and nobody has to remember who came. Check-in opens around the service time you set and closes on its own.

Checked in as they arrive, if they choose

Members who opt in can be checked in automatically when they walk into church, using their phone’s location only at your church’s address. It is off unless the member turns it on, and they can turn it off at any time.

Volunteers at the door

Volunteers get a simple screen that only does check-in: search a name, tap, done. First-time visitors can be added in seconds, and a door count covers anyone who would rather not be named.

Children handed to the right adult

Every child checked in gets a pickup code. Only an adult with that code takes them home, and any exception is written down so leaders can see what happened.

Attendance you can use

Every check-in feeds attendance by service and by location, so you can see trends, notice who is missing and fill in reports without counting again.

Questions churches ask

Do members need to download an app?

Members can use the Sycomore app on iPhone or Android, or simply open sycomore.app in their phone’s browser. Both work the same way.

Can we still check people in at the door?

Yes. Volunteers and staff can check anyone in from their own phone, tablet or computer, including first-time visitors.

Is check-in included in every plan?

Yes. Every Sycomore plan includes every feature, and churches with up to 50 people use Sycomore free.
